Here's our home in Colorado. It's located in the "Grants" section of the Baca Grande, near Crestone, CO, and is completely off-grid. We're running on solar power and propane, and will be renovating the inside of the house as time and money allow.

Just a note here. We took this picture in May, just after we'd put in a bid on the house. It's not July, and there's hardly a trace of snow left on the mountains. The image on the header of the blog was taken around the start of July, and you can notice the difference. In just these past 2 weeks, however, even that snow has disappeared.
Notice also in the blog header graphic that it says 'Summer 2005.' I plan on taking a new picture each season and posting it up there.
