Wheeler Geological Area
Jay and I took the Jeep on our first 4x4 high clearance road this weekend--it led to the trailhead for Wheeler Geological Area in the San Juans about 15 miles outside of Creede. We camped with friends and hiked the Spires and Hoodoo formations created from Volcanic eruptions 30 million years ago. Completely wonderfuly.
