Leaning Circle

For opening day ceremony, students made individual flags that were strung onto a strong rope. Thomas tied the rope so we could all feel the circle grow taut, then with the strength of numbers and cooperation, we were able to lean back and the rope supported all of us. Later we hung the banners across the school front. Each flag carries a student's quality, gift or offering to the world. Blowing in the wind in front of the school, the collective display offers a lot of intentional strength, beauty, courage and well-wishes out into community.
