Dinosaur Dig!
Scientists from the Denver Museum of Natural Science arrived in Saguache to unearth the remains of a Wooly Mammoth that was discovered by a dozer driver in a gravel pit! The school was contacted and allowed access to the site where students were conducting the dig. One of our kids found a bone shard!
