Passings
My Louisiana family has had a month of sad loss and grief with the deaths of my father's brother Dan, his sister Sara, and our long time family friend, Dr. Chester.
Here is a picture of my aunt Sara I took last spring at my father's 70th birthday, where she sparkled. She was an avid reader and gardener. Willa Cather feels right tonight.
Oh, this is the joy of the rose:
That it blows,
And goes.
