David and John at the Silvercrest
A group of us met at the Silvercrest for mexican dinner and open-mic night. Our most excellent Abita Springs neighbor, John Collie, was in town for a few days. He and Jay climbed the sand dunes, Zapata Falls, and then joined the group for a well-earned beer. Here's John with our friend David Billesbach.

great people, those Bradys--intelligent, interesting people and also fantastic hosts. they don't realize how much i miss them as neighbors, but i have an excuse to go to colorado anytime i want--and thats ok with me.

We should have taken the camera with us so we could have a hero shot here of you on top the dunes.
Please consider another visit. The sooner the better. Maybe even when there's some snow on the ground.
sounds good, jay. i would love to come when its cold--maybe take a hike to a snow-surrounded mountain lake. i'll keep you informed if i decide to come this winter.
