Finn and Kathryn take a day trip
Finn invited me to play hookey today. It means the world when your teenage son invites you to play hookey. The last time i remember doing this was when he was in the 4th grade, and we took my birthday off together and bought his white pet rat, Michelle. Today was no pet collection day. We headed south and did some chores in Alamosa---picking out kitchen countertop samples and doing haircut. Then on to Antonito where we stopped at the Oldest Church in Colorado and took pics of arbors and stained glass.

Ha! i remember Michelle! I can still here Fin's ever so innocent voice, NOT. "It doesn't bite Bob i promise." to which I replied "then I guess this is just catchup that stains"
