More opening day of school
Student flags flying high. Finn's highschool posed for a group portrait before heading back down to their building at the other end of the golf course. 22 in highschool this year, up from 13 last year! The community is growing. This group along with their teachers will go on a 6 day back country hike along the Rainbow Trail, carrying all their gear, practicing leave-no-trace camping, as a challenging team building project/process September 10=16. The highschool undertakes a strong physical outdoor challenge as an intiatory experience at the start of each school year. This helps build the tight, flexible, responsive community that can make international expeditionary trips with confidence. This spring the group is heading for Greece and Turkey. But first...6 days hiking the San Juans as a group.
