Exploring Jemez NM with Jay
We had a little business down in Santa Fe on Friday afternoon and decided to bring the tent and head for a beautiful, green mountainous area we have never visited near Bandalier in the Jemez national forest. We took an idyllic hike at Las Conchas, drove the canyons near Gilman tunnels, and got up early Sunday morning and made a short hike up to a natural hot springs at Dark Canyon. Totally heavenly getaway. Jay got this postcard perfect shot of a butterfly and also the cave of flowing water near battleship rock.
