Labor Day Weekend 2011
Jay and I planned to celebrate our 24th anniversary, which coincided with the Labor Day weekend, camping in Rocky Mountain National Park. We didn't count on 250,000 other people having the same idea! Traffic was horrifying as we passed the Stanley Hotel (the hotel in the Shining!) so we headed back to the city, camped in a very comfy king size bed, ate Mexican food and drank margaritas. On Monday morning we met Finn in Boulder and took him for brunch at the wonderful Lucille's.
