Topping Out Ceremony for New School, January 2012
An old-fashioned "Topping Out" ceremony honored the excellent workers and work completed on the new school house in January. The community turned out to support the great work done so far, and extend their blessings and well-wishes on the safe completion of the project. A tree adorned with colored ribbons (symbolic of the empty workers' packs in the middle ages) was mounted on the highest point of the building---the high school upstairs classroom!
