Suess Day and "Sprout"
Anrahyah's class hosted a wonderful "green eggs and ham" Dr. Suess party today for the elementary campus. There were games, fun food and clothes, and inspiring poems and stories written in Suess-style and shared with the group by student-authors. Later in the afternoon a celtic duo called "Sprout" performed traditional music on fiddle, guitar and Irish drum for the elementary students. Crestone Performances (the non-profit that puts on the annual summer music festival) sponsored the performance for CCS. It was a festive day. Tomorrow is the last Monarch day before spring break! I'm ready for the time off. The weather is so incredible, it's hard to be indoors.
