Monarch Friday
I drove up to Monarch mountain today to observe some of the amazing winter sports program our school participates in every Friday December-March. Here is Becca Potter racing in the snowboard team race, Anikke Storm and daughter Vivian getting ready for a run up to Merkwood, Kieth Teahen CCS parent finishing a super-fast ski race run, and a snowboarder sailing off a jump---i don't know who this kids is, but Finn told me he did a "360" off one of these when i caught up with him in the lodge. Great day. Maybe i'll hike up a bit and stake out next to the jumps next time to catch our CCS kids in action on the jumps.
