Movie night with the LaJara women! Finn played music, Jay cooked stir fry, and our pics for the evening were: Whip It--the Drew Barrymore roller derby coming of age movie (thumbs up for cuteness and Austin, TX fun) Bright Star (Jane Campion wrote and directed this story of romantic poet John Keats and his muse, Fanny Brawne. Slow but stirring.) and "It Might Get Loud" Big thumbs up for this documentary of great rock and roll guitarists talking with each other about their origins, inspirations, and making music together.
