Toaster Oven Lunch with Anna-Louise
A totally unexpected, joyful arrival came today with beautiful Anna-Louise. With her sense of fun and creativity, she followed up on a joke i'd made on facebook about having a "toaster oven fetish". Anyway, she arrived at school today with all the ingredients to make portabello mushroom sandwiches...and toast them in a toaster oven! We actually set the toaster oven instructions on fire prior to toasting sandwiches, not realizing the instruction book was inside the oven she'd been gifted. So here are some pics of her carrying the smoking oven outside of the office. Her daughter, Zienna, is in the high-top black converse tenny-boots with white laces. Of all the unsettlments and sometimes discouraging surprises that come during these days of change, this was a totally welcomed surprise. Happy Mardi Gras!!!
