our new clothesline
In a perfect marriage of art and functionality...jay built, hung and painted this new clothesline out by the solar shed. East view is the sangres, he's got the San Juans on the west-facing side, and a great fade into the sage grasses. I should do a whole photo essay on laundry day--i love the clothesline and i love the sun-dried clothes. Although this is the "rainy season" currently, a 2-3 week period in August when we get daily showers, the laundry still manages to dry in about 15 minutes when we've got full sun. This beats the electric dryer by miles!
