Crestone Music Festival
What a people-watching extravaganza--all beautiful and fascinating to behold. Lots of dancing and getting one's groove on, and our favorite band was a world-beat, latin rythmn group from Nederland. Didn't catch their name, but they rocked. The festival was held on the golf course on T-Road, and the green grass was a delight to our toes and eyes. Our neighbors, Sheila and Dave Knapp, sat with us under a shady canopy tent and we also got a chance to visit with Barb Tidd, our mortgage consultant who just shared the great news she is opening an office in downtown Crestone where she will be specializing in helping people get loans for Green Building and Sustainable Construction. She did a great job for us and the Knapps, there are some considerations when trying to finance an off-grid home. Barb worked very hard to help get us to closing. I'm sure she's going to be wildly successful. Here's a pic of Finn, Jay, the Knapps, and Barb in white visor kneeling. Good day. Good vibes aplenty.

that's the handicap of being the one with the camera all the time! check out pics from our hike "it's like middle earth" and look for me and finn with a big view behind us.
