Crestone Friends Shine

Some people are so quick to pick up Love's summons and run with it. Carol and Jillian have both made donations to the Books for Brock journey in generous amounts. Jillian is the heart of Northern Valley Realty and helped our family across the threshold into home ownership and community in Crestone. If you are from Crestone you already know of her generosity, brightness of spirit, and how she anchors community in real time through her Yoga studio that also serves as a meeting place for divergent and creative groups of people and ideas. Jillian has made a donation that pays for nearly 1/2 of the shipping cost for the Books-to-Brock. Carol, pictured above, is the energy force behind the local Hardware store, along with Stock Lumber and Poncha Lumber, Carol has donated $200 in building materials for the Bookshelves-for-Brock project. Anyone who has worked in a high-visibility service job can appreciate how hard that kind of people-service is. Carol, without fail, always has a smile and kind word for me whenever I go into the Mart. She's one person who makes a big difference in the everyday lives of many people
