Ghostown
Finn and i went to Bonanza today--a nearby ghostown about 1/2 an hour from Crestone. Finn was not impressed. He took pictures with his digital camera of his own finger shooting the "bird". I won't post them. Well, maybe. But the town was pretty cool, and not dead at all. There were electric meters to almost every structure, and lots of newer homes--we saw people sitting on porches. It looks like a summer time hang out for f350 truck owners. Two people in a Crown Vic flew past us with a video camera. I fantasized that they were slasher-film producers scouting a location. More likely they were real estate agents from Chaffee County. Here's a pic of a sweet little house made of colored native stone. I think Scooby, Shaggy and the gang met an ol' miner here back in the Olden Days of hannah-barbara cartoon mythology.
